New on Netflix in Kenya in November 2023

Here's what to watch on Netflix in Kenya in November 2023, from 'The Crown S6' to Kenyan feature 'An Instant Dad' to South African classic 'Sarafina'.

Dropping on 10 November, David Fincher’s action thriller The Killer stars Michael Fassbender as a cold and calculated assassin who gets embroiled in an international manhunt after a hit goes wrong.

Set in Edo-period Japan, the animated series Blue Eye Samurai follows a young warrior who lives life in disguise while seeking revenge against the men wronged her. Stream it on 3 November.

Beloved royal drama The Crown is back for the sixth and final season on 16 November which chronicles the untimely death of Princess Diana, the rise of Prime Minister Tony Blair and the start of Prince William’s and Kate Middleton’s relationship. The Crown S6 will be released in two parts, with Part 2 coming on 14 December.

Colman Domingo is Bayard Rustin, advisor to Martin Luther King Jr. who dedicated his life to the quest for racial equality, human rights and worldwide democracy. Rustin drops on 17 November.

From Jahmil X.T. Qubeka, The Queenstown Kings, releasing on 17 November, follows a washed-up football star who returns to his hometown and struggles to connect with his son, a promising player with big names. Also from South Africa, watch out for the return of the classic Sarafina on 26 November.

From Nigeria, Olóládé, dropping 24 November, follows two friends who suddenly become rich in unexpected ways. It seems too good to be true — until they get entangled in a deadly money laundering scheme.

First released in 2009, Kenyan drama series Siri drops on Netflix on 17 November. It follows the interconnected lives of the owners and workers of Majani Tea Estate who face harsh realities and happy moments together.

Also from Kenya is Jennifer Gatero’s An Instant Dad which stars Blessing Lung’aho as a man who goes through an emotional journey of self discovery when a 10-year-old girl arrives at his doorstep claiming to be his daughter. The film premieres on 23 November.
