In yet another move to win over new subscribers in Africa, Netflix is launching its first-ever podcast in the continent titled “Never Late | African Time.”
Hosted by South Africa’s Andy Maqondwana and Zweli Mbhele, the podcast will feature on-screen and behind-the-screen talent on Netflix’s African productions talking all things industry as they share their personal stories in and away from the limelight.

Some talent to expect include award-winning Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau-Karanja aka Kate Actress, Nigerian actress and media personality Nancy Isime, filmmaker Kemi Adetiba and South Africa’s iconic thespian Israel Matseke-Zulu among others veteran, young actors, directors and producers.
The podcast will launch on the 4 May 2022 on AfricaOnNetflix’s YouTube channel as well as Apple iTunes and Spotify podcasts, with five episodes released weekly.
